I'm a 27 year old single mother of two girls that are 10 and 9. I haven't been with a man since their father and I split up 7 years ago. I recently have become emotionally attached to a gentleman that I have been dating for 8 months, he has not met my daughters nor do my daughters know that I have been dating. I'm ready to introduce them but don't know how to tell my daughters. Help!!!

Congratulations on finding new love and I'm assuming happiness. I'm not trying to criticize your parenting , but your daughters should have been informed that you were dating or had a "friend" sometime ago. I'm not sure of their and your relationship with the father so I really don't have an idea of how they will react. My best advice is talk about him to the, let them know that he is special to you and that you are really excited about them meeting him. Good Luck and I wish you continued happiness.
