On December 16, 2011 the music industry lost the life of a formely known rapper Mario "Slim Dunkin" Hamilton due to an altercation over a piece of candy with a gunshot to the chest in an Atlanta Studio.

Sy Ari "Da Kid Brockington CEO of Arrogant Music (Formerly known as Da Kid) have been in business for 6 years as an Artist, Producer, and Songwriter and has worked with multiple people such as Waka, Gucci, Lil Niqo, Akon and even signed to Brian Mickeal Cox to name a few. Sy was a close friend (more like a brother) to Slim and the two have multiple songs together such as We Them Niggas ft. Dae Dae, D-Bo, Sean Teezy and Cap-1, Slim Dunkin, Da Kid & GH Da Border Hopper - You Damn Right Remix [In Studio Performance] on World Star Hip Hop and numerous of other collaborations that they have done together. Their last song and footage together was the song "Alive" ft. Lil Niqo just weeks before his fatality. In Slims verse he says " Devil knockin at da door, I'm askin like who is it? I'm scared 2 death but I aint scared of death Im scared of prison." How paradoxical is that? Since then Sy has recorded a song Dear Vito addressing Slim's Killer and is working on the music video for it at the present time, so be on the look out for that. Arrogant music is re-realeasing this heart felt video "Alive" that many people did not get to see or hear about; also as a tribute to the first year of his friend being deceased. Sy Ari Da Kid's goal is to keep his brothers legacy alive through his music, because he felt that his life was taken too soon.
On December 15, 2012 Sy Ari Da Kid will be doing a tribute to Mario "Slim Dunkin" Hamilton on Grustle Hard Radio from 6 to 8 pm EST. 347-677-0818... He will be taking questions and playing the best of Slim Dunkins music.
